    Apple Pie Smoothie

An Apple Pie smoothie a day keeps the doctor away ;) This is our go-to smoothie every fall when apples are in season and are abundantly available. This smoothie is so decadent and rich with delicious flavors of Apple Pie that your kids aren't even going to realize it's healthy. The apples and bananas add a hint of sweetness and creaminess while the spices add heat and bring out the flavor of the apples. It has a choke full of vitamins and minerals, anti-oxidants and anti-infl

    Creamy Dreamy Orange Smoothie

I like to use local, seasonal fruits and veggies as much as possible. Spring is here and I'm loving all the oranges that are in season right now. I made this smoothie the other day with fresh oranges from my friend's garden and it turned out awesome. This smoothie is creamy, refreshing and nutritious. It's packed with Vitamin C, healthy fats and protein but most importantly, it tastes amazing! Serves 2: Ingredients: 2 navel oranges-peeled and roughly chopped 1 ripe banana Han

    Apricot Smoothie

Every Saturday I go to the local farmers market with my family. I love experimenting with different combinations of local, seasonal fruits and vegetables that I find. My little one is a big fan of Apricots, so I ended up picking up a big box of fresh Apricots a couple of weeks back. While we love to eat apricots as is, we also love them in smoothies. This smoothie is so creamy and delicious. My little one likes to call it ‘Popsicle smoothie' coz I sometimes pour this into pop

    Berry Beet Smoothie

Beets are one of my all-time favourite root vegetables! They are sweet, slightly bitter, juicy and taste delicious. They have a gorgeous deep red hue and can add a pop of colour to any salad or smoothie. Beets are loaded with phytonutrients that provide antioxidants, anti-inflammatory support, and aid in detoxification. The phytonutrient in beets is called betalain. This nutrient is heat-sensitive which means the more you cook it, the more it will lose its nutritional value.
