5 Minute Peanut Butter & Banana Quesadilla
Quick & easy pre or post-workout snack
Love working out but don't know what to eat before or after to fuel your body the right way? I've got the perfect snack for you today! This quesadilla is not only filled with peanut butter, banana & chocolaty goodness but packed with fiber, potassium & protein, making it a perfect pre or post workout snack. This also makes for a great after-school snack for your kids.
5 minutes and 5 simple ingredients is all it takes to make this delicious snack! I've included a very unusual yet lip smacking ingredient. Can you guess what it is? Keep reading....

PEANUT BUTTER & BANANA QUESDADILLA
Servings - 1
Tortilla - 1, I used this one
Peanut Butter - 2 tbsp
Banana - 1/2, sliced
Jaggery - 1 tsp, powdered
Slivered almonds - 1 tbsp
Chocolate syrup (optional)
Warm up the tortilla
Spread the peanut butter evenly all over the tortilla
Layer the banana slices on the peanut butter
Sprinkle the jaggery powder over the banana slices
Sprinkle the slivered almonds on top of the bananas
Fold and cut into triangles. You can form a wrap if you'd prefer that.
Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and enjoy!
Jaggery adds a hint of sweetness and brings out the flavor of the peanut butter
The protein in the peanut butter and almonds will keep you full longer and the bananas will help replace the potassium lost during the workout.
