Dry Fruit Dessert for Diwali!!`

  • 1 cup Seedless Dates

  • 1 cup Dried Figs

  • 1/4 cup Pistachios

  • 1/4 cup Cashew nuts

  • 1/4 cup Almond

  • 1/4 cup Walnuts

  • 2-3 tablespoon Milk

  • 1 tablespoon Ghee


  • To make the Dry Fruit Squares, first chop the dates and dried figs and blend it with some whole milk.

  • Roast all the dry fruits listed above in ghee until lightly golden and aromatic.

  • Now sauté the blended paste in a pan for 5 minutes until it changes to brownish color. Keep stirring every few minutes so that the mixture doesn’t burn.

  • Add the roasted dry fruits and mix well into the mixture.

  • Pour and layer the dry fruit mixture into the pan and allow it to cool ~ 30 minutes.

  • Cut the Dry Fruit mixture into squares or any desired shape and serve.
