How To Make Your Own Spa-Worthy Face Mask At Home
Updated: Nov 8, 2019
Stress is an inevitable part of the busy, fast-paced world we live in. It weighs on us and shows in our faces.
Today I'm going to show you a Papaya Face Mask you can make from the comfort of your home!
Papaya is an excellent source of vitamins C and A, potassium, magnesium and fiber, making it a powerful antioxidant with numerous health and wellness benefits.
For a soothing and refreshing feeling, use this papaya, cucumber, and banana face mask.
Papaya is good for reducing pigmentation, cucumber will soothe sunburned and inflamed skin, and banana will hydrate and soften rough skin.
Wear an old T-shirt or an apron to prevent the face mask from dripping onto your clothes.
Apply the face masks over your kitchen/bathroom sink to avoid messy drips on the floor.
For best results, use a ripe or overripe banana and papaya.
1/4 ripe papaya
Cut ½ of an unpeeled cucumber into slices and place them in a blender.
Add ¼ cup of banana into the blender.
Add ¼ cup of papaya pieces.
Mix until you’ve created a smooth paste.
Wash your face and neck with warm water and an oil-free cleanser to remove makeup and open pores.
Slather the mixture onto your face, avoiding the areas around the eyes and mouth. Let it sink in for about 15 minutes.
Remove the mask by washing with lukewarm water. Gently scrub with a soft washcloth if necessary.
Finish up by rinsing your skin with cool water and then patting dry with a soft towel.
