Strawberry- Rose Popsicles
Updated: Aug 3, 2020
These homemade Strawberry - Rose Popsicles are sweet, tangy, nutritious and unbelievably delicious!!

We love homemade popsicles for an afternoon snack during hot, summer months. I usually get my kids involved in making these super easy and super delicious summertime treat. My 2 year old likes to cut the strawberries into pieces and put them in the blender jar while his big brother puts the rest of the ingredients into the blender and helps mommy blend and pour them into popsicle molds. They make a mess but boy! they have so much fun making their favorite treat.
These popsicles are made with Greek yogurt that not only give a protein-boost to the popsicles but also gives it a wonderful creamy texture. Paired with Strawberry and Rose Nectar, these frozen popsicles are deliciously sweet and nutritious.

STRAWBERRY - ROSE POPSICLES
Ingredients:
Fresh strawberries - 8-10, chopped
Greek yogurt - 1 cup
Milk/ water - 2 tbsp
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Rose Nectar/ Rose Water - 1 tsp
Honey/ Agave/ Maple syrup - 3 tbsp
Instructions:
Add all the ingredients into a blender
Blend until well combined
Pour into Popsicles molds or recyclable cups
Freeze for 5 + hours before serving
Once frozen, run the molds under running warm water for a few seconds. This will help the popsicles come out easily.
Got leftovers? Pour them into ice cube tray and use them to make smoothies

PRAJ'S TIPS:
Using Rose Nectar/ Rose Water is completely optional but it does give a wonderful flavor to the recipe.
Sweetness of the popsicles mellows down once frozen. So taste test to make sure the blended mixture is sweet enough.
You can substitute the strawberries with blueberries, blackberries or raspberries.
For a Vegan variation, just replace the greek yogurt with coconut milk.
